Ease your way through a breakup

Emma Stone was seen out, taking a stroll, and supporting the peace of Paris. Recently separating from ex-fiance, the actress seemed casual, and productive. I’m sure your wondering why she isn’t spending her time at the nearest donut shop, or being seen out with friends at a party somewhere.  Is this the right way she should be conducting herself? For those who want to ease their way through a breakup, without abandoning their well-being, here are some ways you can do that. We all go through that period of not caring about anything, and just wanting to be the doom and gloom of it all.

Now that you’ve fallen completely apart, and don’t know what to do with yourself, keep in mind that your fragile right now. Any action you take now will be a gamble on your emotions. It might be too soon to discern whether it is the right moment to go out for drinks with friends or stay home, and wallow in your misery. Most break-ups consists of impulsive behavior, and impetuous reactions, but is this healthy for you? Here are some right actions to take that won’t add on to the bruised areas or leave you asking yourself, “why did I just do that”?

Most people come up with everything your not suppose to do after a break-up. Like, eating an entire box of brownie mix, that’s classic. But we’re not going to step into those self indulgent ways. We’re going to put ourselves first! Here are some absolute, no good, happy seeking actions not to take.

1.) DO NOT hit up any old relationships to try, and rekindle something that never existed. This is an absolute fail, and it will make you feel like more crap than you are already feeling.

2.) It’s probably best to STOP calling/texting, this will leave you an emotional mess when they don’t answer.

3.) NEVER try, and start up a new fling. That expression, “to get over someone old, you have to get under someone new” is complete, and utter bull. This will definitely leave you feeling lost, and shameful.

Here are some suggestion to stay sane while going through a transition like this.

1.) STAY POSITIVE, let go of all the bad blood, and bad vibes that keep you bitter.

2.) FIND A PROJECT, find something that can get your mind off of things that make you sad

3.) ENJOY “ME TIME”, take a day to spend with yourself, do some yoga, it’s been proven  to help with healing, which you need a lot of.

Break-ups can be bad, but it doesn’t have to get in the way of anything. Like Emma, we all can still make an effort to be happy, and enjoy life.
