Healthy snacks you’ll love for the big game…

Everyone is looking to make some delicious servings for the big game this weekend. But the truth is, I’m sure you don’t want to add on the calories you’ve been shaving since the New Year. So all you have to do is get creative and think of substitutes. Most people come to a game party to serve up on the alcohol. So these light treats won’t hurt a bit! Start with this:

1.Baked Boneless Wings
Typical Buffalo wings are double trouble because they are fried with the chicken skin on. Back them and try low fat blue cheese or ranch. This cuts your calories down from 1700 to 700…big difference!

2.Greek Yogurt in Dips
Everyone loves a good dip, but make your dip with 0 percent fat-free plain Greek yogurt and you’ll cut about 800 calories and 78 grams of fat! Greek yogurt not only makes for a creamier texture and is great for belly-filling protein.

3.Lean Turkey Meatballs
Using lean turkey saves about 150 calories and 14 grams of fat per serving, and it helps because the tomato sauce is super-low in carbohydrates. Go lighter by skipping the bread and serve your meatballs on skewers.

4.Skinny Layer Dip
Instead of refried beans go with black beans and you’ll save 150 calories and 13 grams fat per one cup serving. Use plain Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and you’ll trim another 380 calories and 48 grams of fat. Then add your lettuce, fresh salsa, and light cheese.

5.Crispy Crunchy Chickpeas
For tasty crunch that’s much lighter, have dry roasted chickpeas! One ounce has 110 calories, plus you’ll get 4 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein that make this a super filling snack.
