After being hospitalized for nearly a week in UCLA for temporary psychosis, Kanye West has finally been released from the hospital according to sources. It was reported that on November 21st, Kanye was admitted to the hospital with diagnosis of temporary psychosis after frequent awkward outburst during his current “Saint Pablo Tour.” According to sources, Kanye suffered from a psychotic break down following a series of life altering events which left the rapper sleep deprived and depressed. His wife, Kim Kardashian has been by his side since day one. Many people are still wondering what really caused this mental illness that caused the star to cancel his remaining tour dates. Although it is not a known issue for people to discuss throughout the entertainment industry, mental illness is in fact a known issue for a lot of celebrities.

Psychosis also known as mental illness is a mental disorder characterized by a disconnection from reality. There are over 200,000 known cases of this disorder throughout the United States. Although this disorder is treatable, it is important to b aware of what signs to look for.

Speech changes: Rapid speech, deficiency of speech, excessive wordiness, loss of words

Treatment can be provided in different forms based on the severity of the diagnosis. Treatment can consist of medication or talk therapy. Supportive care, therapies, Antipsychotic medicine and specialist are just a couple to look for. When a person is going through tough time in their life it is common for them to feel out of the ordinary. However, when the feelings turn into a longer depression and unusual thoughts it may be time to get help. Psychosis is nothing to be ashamed of, people go through life changes everyday.
