GETTING STARTED

Cod fish,  Atlantic, and Pacific types can be purchased in many different ways. You can buy it either fresh or frozen, bit forms, dried, or salted. These are greatest sources of protein, Vitamin B-12, and Omega 3’s. There all brain foods that sparks good feelings, leading to awesome days.
Here are the main ingredients and what you’ll need for the Mancave Cod meal: 2 pots full of water, 1 pan, and bake using the oven.

WILD Cod, Collard Greens (substitute Swiss Chard or any dark leafy green that you must cook), olive oil or my other favorite, coconut oil.
1 Egg plant, 1/2 sweet or red onion, 2 carrots, 1 apple, 1/4 cup of ginger dressing (or your favorite), and thyme.
– Eggplant: Preheat oven to 400 degrees, peel skin, slice about 1/4 inch thick, brush on olive oil and bake for 20 mins or to speed it up, Sautee, cut eggplant into cubes, brush with olive oil, and stir gently while cooking in a pan until soft. (About 5-10 minutes
-Unfrozen salted cod bits:  rinse and then boil for 20 mins.
-Cut your onions as desired, apples into chunks, and carrots thinly.
-Collars greens:  chop and then boil for 3-4 minutes. Stop from cooking by using a flash freeze process by placing the greens in a bowl of ice water for 10 seconds, then drain.

Add all ingredients into a large bowl and pour in the goodness of your dressing. This is a super rich protein salad that will spring you into this week.

Have you been adding in your own ingredients to our quick Mancave recipes? I’m eager to learn what twists you’ve been coming up with.  Leave your comments and we’ll all put the spin on what’s good.
