Most people can relate to being stressed out all the time. And when your stressed out all the time, you really can’t make the best decision. The reason being is because your not quite thinking straight enough to examine any given situation.

When you talk to a friend and they seemed dazed and confused or out of touch with what’s going on, it’s most likely that they are stressed out. Think about a situation you were in that made you think really hard and you just couldn’t figure out the solutions. Those feelings are the feelings of disorientation from stress.

So you have to take care of your body. Take the time out for  yourself to take a breather and really understand what your inner thoughts are saying. With all the distraction and noise in this world, it’s hard to hear what our inner voice is saying. Believe it and know it! Meditation is one of the oldest forms of releasing your stress and finding your inner abilities. Go back to moments you forget in the week or moments in your life that were so much fun. Meditation does all of that for you and then some. It allows your body to imagine the unimaginable when your overwhelmed. Take a minute or two or ten to meditate daily. Mental stress can speed the heart and raise the blood pressure. Here is why meditation works:

1. Meditation can actually reverse the physiological signs of stress
2. It slows the heart rate
3. Lowers blood pressure
4. Reduce the breathing rate
5. Diminish the body’s oxygen consumption
6. Changes skin temperature

Meditation is the most demanding of the auto regulation techniques, but it’s also the most beneficial and rewarding. Select a time and place that will be free of distractions and interruption.
Get comfortable, achieve a relaxed and passive mental attitude!
