Nutrients to get through the afternoon

Repeat this as fast as you can, “I need something right now or like yesterday.”

What the… who says that? You see. It’s the nasty fast rushing process of lunch that gets people in a frizzy. RELAX… let your hair down and count to 10. Grabbing something quick from anywhere that could be anything is never going to do you any justice. Why does a meal have to look like everyone’s  ordinary meal to be a meal that literally is supposed to just give you nutrients to get you through the afternoon. Most times those “anything meals” will have you asleep with your forehead pushing the QWERTY letters on the keyboard by 2pm..

Think about your heart. Then think about your yearly goal and how it will help your health. Now get your pennies together for the ultimate in pocketbook savings. Nuts right. No, it sounds nuts, but literally it is ‘nuts‘. It takes one to know that, trust me.

We divide our day up by only a few meals, but if you’re in a pinch then my plan will be you’re successful way out of starvation and back to productivity.

Almonds, cashews, hazelnuts are my fav, but do you know your own favorites?

Nuts have protein, good fats, fiber. Have some with mineral water and maybe a few carrots or an apple or other fruit and you have a recipe that’s literally a small meal.

You won’t feel bloated. You’ll have a high condenced amount of energy and you will keep alert. No more dozing off due to heavy carbs and fats because the #2 meal or L7 on the menu has you like Blahhhh!

Try I! I’m not suggesting to do this everyday, but keep in mind that food = fuel. Save those precious and expensive lunch menu meals for another day.

As always,  BAM, BOOM, and Voila!
