How to stay healthy on the go with Eva Mendes

Eva Mendes is an actress, model, fashion designer, singer and busy mother. She has been most recognized for her on screen abilities with some of Hollywoods best actors, like Willl Smith and Denzal Washington just to name a few. We have also seen Mendes in a collection of different beauty commercial being the face of their product.  Aside from her busy day to day schedule with working in the entertainment industry, she also has to make time for her two young baby girls. So many wonder, how does she do it? Keep her body fit, looking, skin glowing and family happy. We have some tips on how she  manages her healthy lifestyle on the go and how you can too.

Find a Balance: In a recent interview Eva did, she expressed how important it is to find a good healthy balance throughout the day. When you’re a busy working mom, you have to make sure you find time for you, make time for “me time.” Scheduling your days will allow you to fit in at least a 30 minute workout.

Meal Prep: When people hear the words “Meal Prep” they automatically run, as if it’s the worse thing in the world. However, preparing your food for the next day or week ahead can elimanate a lot of unwanted stress throughout your busy day. This also allows you to take your time to make a healthy meal with all the nutrients you need to maintain a healthy diet and pack your daily snacks.

Eliminate the “NO”: Like a lot of us, Eva explained how she doesn’t like to workout…but she knows she has to. Eliminate the thought of not working out and just do it. No one said it had to be some hardcore heavy weight lifting work out, but getting some physical activity in throughout your day is necessary. For a busy person like Eva, setting aside an hour or so out of the day to visit the gym will not hurt you. Plus you’ll feel more energerized as you go through your day.

It is very easy to get sidetracked when you have a busy schedule day to day, but it’s also important to remember to keep your healthy diet in check.
