There’s been swirl about Rosie leaving ‘The View’ for the past few months now. Most people made assumptions as to why but she tells us that work related stress is the real issue in the video.

:38 “Stress is very bad for a heart attack survivors. You should minimize your stress, maximize your exercise, and control your diet. That’s what you need to do for a healthy heart. And that’s what I’m doing. I’m minimizing my stress by leaving The View.”

Work Related Stress

Truth be told, there’s been many hard working people to lose their jobs by losing their lives due to heart attacks caused by work related stress. Half of Americans feel more stressed now a days then ever before. Three out of four Doctors visits are work related stress ailments. Not only can stress cause heart attacks and strokes but also increases heart disease risk in 40% of the population.  Most of Americans continue to deal with stress at work regardless of the truth in these numbers.

I can definitely relate to work related stress because I don’t always get enough sleep. You may not have a choice on whether or not you will work, let’s face it, we all have bills to pay, however if you are working yourself to the point where it affects your health, that, my friend is a No-Go!!! Rosie’s brave choice to step outside of the normal and put her #HEART and her #HEALTH before her #POCKETBOOK is commendable.  She definitely inspires me to stress less and get my sleep.

Now I want to hear from you. Have you ever had a time where your work was affecting your health and you had to make a hard decision?  Comment below and share, you never know who you could encourage!
